OneOne of humanities greatest challenges is poverty. Poverty impacts on the ability of thousands of children to gain an education. Going to school on an empty stomach is a reality that too many of our children are faced with on a daily basis. We have a duty to ensure that these children are given an opportunity to educate themselves out of poverty. A nutritional meal every day will go a long way in improving their energy and concentration levels. Feeding at schools also encourages attendance.
TwoHigh unemployment is a reality we cannot escape. The New Life Community Centres will offer leadership training with the aim of empowering people and creating a culture of entrepreneurship. The creation of employment through the daily operations of the community centres and feeding scheme is also an opportunity to uplift the parents in the communities who are unemployed.
ThreeEmotional Wellness in an individual is a coping mechanism for life’s challenges. Experiencing positive emotions such a joy, excitement and love contribute to an over-all sense of acceptance and well-being. Maintaining good mental health generates a positive attitude, high-self worth and a determination to over-come no matter the odds. Our Emotional Wellness Programmes strive to meet the emotional needs in a constructive and nurturing way.
